Asteroid B-612
OOC: I stumbled on the proper name, the other day. There's a 6 in there.
I think we can safely assume we all knew where this speech thing was going, so I'm going to skip over the rehearsal, rather than torture players with a poorly-implemented copy.
Asteroid B-612 was certainly a site to behold. The actual rock, itself, was perhaps only one or two-times the length of the Galaxy. The castle, however, was clearly larger, giving B-612 the image of an upside-down ice cream cone. (OOC: there are cottages in the Thousand-Islands portion of the St. Lawrence that are like this. I kid you not.)
At the base of the castle - or the surface of the asteroid, for those glass-half-fullempty philosophers - a drawbridge opened. It looked like wood, just like the castle looked like stone.
Tawfeek, now much better and in a space suit, floated out from the Galaxy's opened hold.
Everything that passes was in view of the crew from the bridge, and heard on the comms.
As he landed on the end of the drawbridge, he held out the shipping forms to anther fellow who was approaching, and began his speech with perfect diction.
"Greetings, Great Prince of Asteroid B-612," He said. "We have travelled a great distance to bring you --"
"That's great," interrupted the second man, taking the forms. "Yep. It's all here. Boys, in on the double."
The second man signed the forms and handed them back to Tawfeek, as a half-dozen men descended on the ship, some were carrying supplies into the ship.
"Sorry for the rush, Captain Tawfeek, but there's an announcement coming out from Earth. Takes precedence over pomp and circumstance."
Even as the second guy spoke, the crew on the Galaxy were starting to see a spike in the chatter.
"A mutual baron friend of ours asked you to deliver those new crates further out-system," the second guy said. "He said you're good for charity work. He'll be in touch with you soon. Here's the upfront, and we're adding supplies."
After the moves were completed, Tawfeek returned to his ship.
"Foreman," Tawfeek said, as he returned to the ship, through the hold, closing the doors. "Make for Saturn. Stephens, what's going on with Earth?"
