Things went from bad to chaotic in a matter of seconds. Longs flip hit the mark, but seemed to do little more than catch Homicide off guard. That gave Tom the leverage he was looking for and the vise like grip broke. That gave Angel the rush of air she desperately needed as blacking out was dangerously close. That blacking out was the only thing that kept homicide from losing his arm as the energy blade hacked off a large chunk of flesh off his forearm.
. "Sonuva..." Homicide reeled away, trailing blood. Rusty stepped in to shield Homicide, and smirked and the trio of heroes, " Short one already, aren't you?" She began backing Homicide towards the door, "Cut your losses, while you can."

"How about you take a seat instead?" Tom uses his magnetic powers to drive a chair to trip Rusty from behind.

Long puts a hand on Tom's arm to stop him from blocking Rusty. "No Tom. We need to let them go for now." Then dramatically pointing at Rusty, "But this fight is not over. Someday we will make you pay for your crimes." Turning back to Tom in a hushed whisper, "Remember? We need to get them outside anyways so we can get this fight really going. We just follow them."

Sara raises her to crouch, watching the two go. She got the chance to hurt Homicide back, that was a start for all the times he sunk his blades into her body. Sara puts her sword away an retrieves her guns and goes looking for a fire extinguisher. Soon as she puts the fire out, the sooner they can go out after them and really bust them up.

Just as the two villains reached the door, and despite Long's warning, Tom's ambush with the chair took Rusty by surprise. At the same time, the metal doors exploded inward in a fiery blast that levelled Homicide. In the doorway, Trevor clutched his ribs and leaned against the door casing to stay on his feet, but still managed a wise crack, "Can't believe my date ditched me for this party. Can you guys wrap this up, I might need to swing by the pharmacy on the way home for some aspirin."
Homicide was slowly rising to his feet, shaken by the sneak attack. " That's why you don't leave them wounded if you can help it."
Rusty on the other hand was enraged, and charged at Tom as she got up

First they are letting them go and now they are back into the fight. Sara goes to work on Homicide from distance with both her pistols, blasting away at him to continue putting the hurt on him. No point in resting an opportunity to put more lead into him and force him to retreat."

As soon as Sara is done shooting Long runs over and stands on Homicide's back. He reaches down and grabs Homicides arm, puts his foot on his elbow and breaks the arm. Then he quickly grabs the other arm and does the same thing. Then Long puts the cuffs on him. "I did not want to have to do that, but we need to arrest him and I needed to make sure he was unable to use his powers. I hope that works."

Homicide went down with Sara's first shot, and Long was able to get the first arm before he grabbed for the other and it turned into a sword blade in his hands and cut them badly ( take 3d6 directly to hands) . Homicide started to get up, but Trevor was there despite his injuries and brought his heel down on the villain's temple, causing Homicide to go limp on the floor, blood spilling from the gunshot to his stomach. The action was too much though as Trevor cried out in agony and collapsed next to Homicide.
Tom's punch wasn't enough to knock Rusty out, but it did stagger her back. As it did, she saw Homicide on the floor and stopped," Okay, I give up. No more."

Sara keeps her guns on Homicide after he goes down and gets tied up. She was taking chances with him. Her remaining self-restraint kept her from emptying the pistols in her hands into his face because they needed him alive; plus she was better than he was. She moves close, holstering a pistol to help Treavor.
"How bad you hurt, Trev?"

(Hopefully Homicide's arm turned back into an arm when he lost consciousness.)
Long grabs Homicide's unbroken arm once again. "This is going to hurt. But it is necessary. It might be overkill, but we cannot take any chances." He breaks the arm like he did the other one and puts the cuffs on him. Then he goes out looking for anybody that might still be around. (Maybe on the next floor up if necessary.) The first person he sees, "We have some seriously wounded folks in the morgue. Get some doctors and stretchers over there right away." Then long heads back to the morgue.

"I think dying would hurt less." Trevor replied, clutching his ribs as Sara helped him up. " Nothing Avi can't fix up." He replied, then looked at the remaining smouldering and it extinguished.
Homicide never even winced as Long broke the other arm. Rusty snarled, " Some heroes you are, letting him bleed out on the floor like that." She glared at Tom as she dropped her armor. "At least let me try to stop the bleeding."
Long didn't have to go far before he found a fire crew searching for the source of the alarms. One of them pointed at Long, "Sir, you need to come with us for your safety. We can see to whoever is in there, but we need to clear the building first."

Long wearily shakes his head and shows his shield. "I am Officer Fu with Miami PD on special leave with the FBI. The fire is out. There is no structural damage. We have some extremely dangerous prisoners in custody and I need to get back to my team to make sure everyone is ok and still in custody. Please hurry with the first aid equipment." With that Long turns and runs back to the morgue.
