*Sierra was aware of the Meta's about her, but the one that puzzled her was the one sneaking up on her. why was Kristien doing that, then seemed to forget as she continued to was the dishes. thus when the arms went about she gave a jump and then chuckle that broke into a full bellied laugh as he tasted the 'hotter' chili,
*her hand covered the mouth and her giggles soon became controlled again* 'uhh .. too hot? ... or not hot enough?' *she tasted it as well and blinked at the heat herself* 'well, i can always cut back on it. that is ... a little warm ... '
*she leans against the counter and watches Kristien now. a part of her is content with learning things aobut this new world, and another part of her wonders what Ashley meant. sje knows she would never willingly jurt him, but what about unwillingly? she then shrugs and figures whatever happens will happen.

Avi's voice came over the house intercom, " Kristian? Isamu? Never mind about that package to go with the prisoner. I just found them down behind the desk, or at least whats left of them."
Ashley had a hurt look about her. " Of course I'll forgive you, Is. But it hurts knowing you'd think I'd steal from the house. " she pulled her hands out of his, with tears welling up, " maybe from some of the others, but not you." She wiped her eyes before turning and running from Isamu.
Kristian gasped at the heat of the chili, " Plenty hot. I need water." He opened the fridge and took out a bottle of water and drained it. once it was gone, he tried to catch his breath. " You think that's funny, huh?" He grabbed her and pulled her close and grinned, " Maybe I should haul you down the beach and toss you in the water again to call it even."

' .. sugar helps more than water ... really it does ... ' *she smiles and hopes that is enough to stop Kristien from the 'toss you in the ocean' threat. somehow she knows it is real.
' ... sorry ? .... i'll cut the heat now ... before it gets too strong. i know someone was complaining about stuff not being spicy enough, so i thought i'ld do some hotter 4 alarm chili .... '
*she shakes the head and asks simply 'not the water ... not that stuff out there ... its got big things willed with tetth in it ... and i don't know how to swim ... so .. not the big water' *switches gears and offers something else 'uhh .. oh this isn't a cookie ... its .. *she looks at the item in her hand and giggles slightly and finishes* .. a jar of parsley .. ?'
*sensing and not seeing who was coming up her eyes turn to follow something on the wall and then looks at Kristien ' ... i wonder what that's about. i think that was Ashley .... '

Isamu doesn't let her get far. Chasing her down and catching her. "I know you would not steal. But I know how you feel about what has happened to you. I was more concerned than anything else. We do not know how that would have affected your symbiotes. I trust you with my life Ashley. I worry about you very much as well. "

Ashley looked guiltily as Isamu as she wiped at her eyes. She pulled a bottle out of her pocket and showed him. I don't have to steal them. I bought some of my own." She put them away quickly. " This is the first time I tried them. Is, you don't know how good this feels to be just me? And it just puts them to sleep, in fact I can feel them starting to wake already. It doesn't last long, but it's a blessing , Is. Please don't be mad at me."
" Allright, no more ocean." Kristian agreed. He watched as Ashley and the Isamu went by the kitchen. "Leave the heat just as it is, I was just caught off guard is all. So you two seem to be friends now, what's with Ashley?"

*Sierra looks at Kristie, then towards the door as Is and Ashley moved past and then shrugs* 'no clue .. but she was kinda dull before. well help me finish the sandwiches? .. i'm sure the others will be hingry soon'
*she looks up at Kristien and then back at the various slice things on the counter. 'would you be mad if i told you i wished i was normal? you know .. if i looked like everyone else, and wasn't strong or able to copy p ... '
*she looks at the wall and frowns and then shrugs* 'oh .. kinda strange. hmm. Ashley's coming back now. wonder how she did that? .. anyways, did i tell you that she showed me how to open jars without breaking the glass?'
*then she's back to making hte sandwiches and piles the fillings in so that the filling is double the bread slices. she's cutting them and pauses to look up and comments. 'is it true? i can go to you when i cry at night?

Kristian looked confused about what was going on with Ashley, but he smiled as Sierra posed her question," Of course you can come cry on my shoulder. Anytime you need it." He answered sincerely. " I think we'd all like to just be normal sometimes, but we have to be ourselves. And being a meta is part of it whether we like it or not."

Sierra could feel Mako move out of her range at a fairly fast rate, and then Avi appeared in the doorway. " Fishboy is on his way to his new aquarium."
" Good riddance." Kristian said as he placed the sandwiches on a plate and moved them to the table. " I can't believe held go to trial on only Sierra recognizing him through her metasensing."
" Who said anything about a trial?" Avi smirked, taking a sandwich.

'well .. sorry. even that would be hard to do .. maybe. but its okay. i'm fine now .. i'm over feeling sorry for myself. not that pot Avi .. its the hot batch. and its still getting the flavor blending stage done with.
*she moves over and takes one of the sandwich parts and proceeds to munch on it. her eyes studying the two of them.

Isamu looks at the pills Ashley holds up to him, his face betraying surprise and then some sadness as he says, "I am not now nor was I ever upset with you Ashley. I am a disappointed that you did not discuss your decision with me. I know how hard what has happened to you has been. I know that you feel you are no longer yourself. I would have preferred to run tests on the pills and their possible effects before you tried them, however if they truly help, and have no severe side effects, how can I begrudge you? It is your life Ashley, you must be the one happy with it."

" I'm from Texas, Sierra. If chili doesn't set your tongue afire, it isn't real chili." Avi replied, scooping a generous portion. He to a sampletaste., and raised his eyebrows. " Not bad, could use a few habenaro peppers though." He added a sandwich to his plate and disappeared out to the deck.
" I'll stick to the mild batch." Kristian smiled, taking Si by the hands. " And no more foolish talk today. I've heard enough of it."

" Really?" Ashley's eyes lit up with suprise. " You're not mad? Oh Is, no wonder i'm in love with youo." She hugged him tight and kissed him. " I'm sorry I never told you. I've been taking it since just after Will disappeared , but nobody else knows, and I wannaa keep it that way."

* Si just grins and goes a bit pink again. 'alright. no more, but you might have a watering pot in the morning sometime. i may take you up on that offer of crying on your shoulder sometime' *after a kiss she stammers with .. * ' ... oh right .. i .. uhh ... what was i saying?'
' .. oh right ... lunch ... good thing the mild batch has a lot in it' *she forgets about telling anyone else about the fact lunch was ready and makes sure that the heat is down to a minimum before grabbing a sandwich* 'can you sit on a log? .. i might be nice to sit on the sand or a log to eat'
*she moves to the intercom and after frowning at it moves to the doorway and yells towards the upper floors 'HEY ... LUNCH IS READY .. ' *she then turns to head outside with her sandwich and gets a scoop of both chili's to eat.

Kristian came out not long after Sierra, with two cans of soda and he followed her to the beach. He pointed out a piece of drift wood, and sat down once Sierra had. " You sure you're not too close to the water here?" He teased.
