SHOCK regrouped fast enough to resume their focus on Atmosfear, their fire indiscriminate as they fired, though nowhere's near the group. Atmosfear retailiated by causing anotther earthquake beneath the armed men, causing them to fall in. The monster smiled evilly as they disappeared beneath the split open street.
" He's gonna kill them." Avi said, his weapons drawn. " Alice, we can't let this happen, SHOCK or not."
Ashley looked at Sierra, her energy claws sprouting from her fingers," Too late . All we can do it try to stop him now." She looked at Isamu and winked," Good luck nabbing Fish Boy."
Dmitri dropped his transformation. " Easier to sneak up on him this way. After you, Is." He motioned for Isamu to lead the way.

Alice looks uneasy as she nods at Avi. "We should try to help them as best we can." Taking a deep breath, she looks around for something to use as a weapon.

*SIerra is torn .. does she fight for the humans that want to hurt her .. or try to hel the meta below .. and makes her choice and moves forward with the rest.
*unlike the otherstrying to stop the big guy, she'll protect him from getting hurt .. and will take the time to try to heal his hurts. she moves in front of Atmosfear and faces him and shows her empty hands

Isamu nods and then turns to Dimitri. "Let us get out and slip into the crowd and come up behind him. We can quickly grab him and walk him into a portal and a cell until we have more time to focus on him."

Dmitri followed Isamu's lead and they began to make their way through the growing crowd. but, as fate would have it, Mako looked along the crowd and saw Dmitri and Isamu working their way towards him, and like any guilty person, began to run away. " We have to catch him before he slips away." dim said, starting to force his way after Mako.
" Prefect distraction." Avi said as Sierra grabbed the monster's attention. " Alice, can you get them out of that pit? Ashley and I will go after the big guy."
" Sounds like fun." Ashley said and followed Avi's lead towards Sierra and Atmosfear.
Atmosfear looked at Sierra for a moment, then laughed intensely." You would trade healing my minor wounds in exchange for that trash in the whole. I think not, little one. Now be gone so I can finish these pests." Even as he spoke, a bolt of lightning plunged form the sky and into the chasm. One of the SHOCK men cried out, spurring Atmosfear to laugh.

*she settles her feet and waits, her hands flexing now as she waits for his reaction to her challenge. betting HER ability to shrug off harm will hold up against his attacks. even if she can't at lest she would have confused him enough to let the others get the Shock troops outof harms way

Isamu too starts to push his way through the crowd, and as soon as he gets some room, he breaks into a run chasing down Mako.

Once free of the crowd, Mako began to run. Dmitri fell behind Isamu as they pushed through the crowd, and Is was clear first. He could see Mako had chosen a poor escape route, and had boxed himself in a deadend alley. He had started to climb the fence.
" You're either brave or stupid." Ashley said to Sierra as she stepped along side. Avi flanked on the other side.
Atmosfear merely laughed, " Very well, if you like flatscans so much, you can die with them." Another tremor began beneath the three's feet, causing Avi to lose his balance and stumble.
The three had distracted Atmosfear well enough to give Alice the opportunity to she needed.

Isamu runs into the entrance to the alley, and seeing Mako climb the fence, he brings up a wall 12ft high directly on the other side of the fence, so even if he gets over the fence he has no where to go.
As he approaches he says, "we would like to have a word with you. Please do not resit, it would benefit no one by making us hurt you."

*Si seems to stand there, but she is far from being timid. she has been studying the gent in front of her and instead of coppying his tremor causeing .. she calls up the wind once again and ahs it swirl about the three of them and adjusts it so that as the ground starts to crumble where they were, it settles them on more solid ground.
*hoping that will slow him down, she studies how his tremor making happens now as hte wind drops suddenly and the bits of debris fling off and pepper the area '... sorry ... '
*she steps forward a step and the look of concentration is obvious now as she studies him. 'not a lotta good when i can drift someplace else. why? ... why do you hate them so much?.. not all of them are so stupid as to hate without cuase. its the fear that makes them stupid. they hate what the fear, cause it makes them less in control. people NEED to be in control of their own bodies and ther immediate area .. just give me your 'why' ... '

Alice quickly and quietly makes her way to the SHOCK people and attempts to help them out of the pit, keeping an eye out on the meta to make sure he hadn't noticed her enough to target her with his next attack.

Mako hung on the fence staring at the wall Isamu had erected for a moment, then lowered himself to the ground and raised his hands. " What do you want with me? I didn't do anything." He said far too quickly.
Dmitri entered the alleyway and smirked," Looks like you didn't need me anyways."
Alice managed to help to help the first couple SHOCK soldiers out of the hole easily, but showing they were mindset, the first two raised their weapons and began firing again, but Atmosfear wasn't their only target this time.

Atmosfear glared at Sierra and the others. " They treat us like we are wild beasts and worse. These ones hunt our kind merely because we are different without remorse. It is not the first time I have face them, nor will it be the last. Now I will not give you any more warnings. stand clear or I will..."
" Not gonna happen, bud." Avi cut him off. Behind them came the twin stacatto of automatic fire, and Ashley yelped. Her hand immediately went to her shoulder and came back bloody. Her eyes seeemed to glow as she let out a roar and began to change. fully transformed, the werebear Ashley turned towards the SHOCK troopers and began to stalk towards them.
Atmosfear laughed evilly," You see? even as you try to help them, the flatscans turn on you." He held his hands in front of him then closed them quickly.

Just as Alice helped the fourth member free, the ground began to rumble again. even as on of the pair still in the whole reached for Alice's hand, the chasm slammed shut on them. when Alice looks up, she can see Ashley is in full rage and charging the SHOCK members, though her one arm was drawn tight to her chest. But it wasn't enough to stop the gunmem as they split their attention between Atmosfear and Ashley.

In the alleyway, Isamu and Dmitri heard the distinctive roar of Ashley transforming over the chatter of gunfire. " that doesn't sound good." Dmitri muttered.

Isamu looks at the man as Dimitri enters the alley. "Dimitri can you escort him back to the house? I will go and help the others."
He then hears Ashley roar and has a slight panicked look. "I think I should go now. Sounds like there may be a problem."
As soon as Dimitri opens a portal Isamu runs out of the alley. When he sees what is going on he brings up a circular prison from the ground to contain and the SHOCK troops and prevent them from shooting anyone, as well as shielding them from Ashley, yelling out, ASHLEY!" as he does.
He then focuses on the creature, and attempts to encase him in earth up to his neck.

Seeing Ashley in bear form, a string of curses escapes Alice, probably surprising Jason as he listens in on the communicator. As Isamu raises a wall to contain the shock troops, she attempts to use her telepathy to get through to Ashley's symbiotes in an attempt to calm her down like she did on the roof of the old firehouse when Ashley had been sparing with Isamu. (isp: 4)

*Sierra caught up in the mess of scattered thoughts and then seeing Ashley get hurt and then transform, watches the ground slam shut and gives a light gasp. shock is in her eyes as Ashley transforms and goes to attack.
*tears flow as she looses the last of her innonce about how the whole should be like Mayberry and screams her rage at the sky. 'no ... no no no nonononoooooooo .... '
*she looks at Avi and then moves to the tower holding the SHOCK troops and then climbs up it .. digging in her fingertips to look down at them. 'i was really hoping that i didn't have to say this .. ' *she slips her feet to the inside and then drops into the encasing tower and grabs the nearest one by his vest and drags him forward.
'i believed in things being good. i believed that everyone was equal. i believed that everyone had a right to live. i came here to trap a killer. someone that was hunting YOUR kind ... the shark attacks. that was a Meta controlling them. one that was killing your type. now i see i was wrong. so very VERY wrong'
*she tosses the guy into the other and glares at him. 'i almost believed in happy endings. boy was i really stupid. i really hope that you get shoved into a cell and locked away .. but i'll let you in on a secret .. you think they were scary? .. i'm worse. i can be way worse. i'm your worst nightmare come to life'
*she grabs at the other soldier and then calmly RIPS the kelvar vest in half and off him. 'think about that the next time you try to take one of us. i'll KILL you then' *she shoves the second at the first and then turns and gathers up the random weapons they have and then turns and starts climbing back up again.
