Flip was about to drink. Instead he puts the drink down and pushes it away, "It's Mr. Forman to you. I don't flip my loyalties, and I don't drink with those that suggest I do," he motions towards the sandwich, "I don't break bread with people who do it either. I know where my loyalties lie, and they are not for sale."

Reception(It should be noted that no-one has attempted to get the rogue satellite since the Galaxy tried.) Mensk certainly had no trouble digging up corporate reports, news reports, government reports, and more regarding Blastarc’s business activities. They had communications contracts, military contracts, research contracts, cafeteria contracts, temporary worker contracts, and other such things. And more than a few hand-shakes with suited political types. To make sense of it all, I’m going to need a Research skill roll, a literacy skill roll, a computer operation roll and a math roll. ***** "Hmmmm need to slim down the options." with a thoughtful moment called up his computers calculator he started to get a few basics sorted. In Foreman’s dreams
Dioxin let out a chuckle, sitting more casually. “You think I’m offering you a deal?”
Jessica let out a knowing chuckle.
“No, no young man,” He said. “Mr. Foreman, if you want all of that sandwich, you’re welcome to it. I’m not selling it to you, and I’m not any part of the outcome of having it. Rest assured of that.”
“No,” He continued after a sip, “But what you should consider is what happens after you eat the sandwich. What if you are too hungry? Or too full? What if it was poorly made, or otherwise not worth it?”
“What if it was the best sandwich ever,” Jessica asked. “But fleetingly.”
“Also valid.” Dioxin added.
He leaned forward, pushing the sandwich to Foreman.
“Go ahead,” He said, like a friendly uncle. “It’s yours to have.”
Reception
Mensk, after considerable work, had collected quite the timeline about Blastarc, finding a few countries likely to order nuclear weapons from them. However, a clear link to one, or a definitive link to any, was elusive. What he really couldn’t find was motivation for it, since all the countries in question had their own military arsenals, making Blastarc’s satellite unnecessary. What he also couldn’t find was a commission date for the satellite itself.
The Local Watering Hole
McKenna saw Jessica had noticed a guy, who seemed somewhat interested in Jessica.
“I take it that I’ll have to restock again, huh?” Tawfeek asked, taking a drink. “Or can it wait until we get paid, again?”

"Okay so Blastarcs satellite could be for anything. Let's look at what it does and where it would effect. Had the blast had the weapon gone off it would have EMP'd or destroyed near by sats and disrupted someone even make an EMP on the ground. Maybe a link there." he thought. destroy a power base, destroy economy, manufacturing and reduce over all effectiveness.
The fact it's commission date was hard to find was clue potentially so a covert power move or some other action. Perhaps where the EMP would hit may have a clue. he set the computer to find that as looked up world powers that had assets Blastarc could not openly attack. So looking up on Blastarc's employees for any high profile or unlikely friends seemed in order as well.

"We'll be okay for a while yet." McKenna replied, looking over at Jess and then the guy she was looking toward before returning her attention to the captain. "There's a few things that I could use, but short of robbing an ambulance shuttle, it will cost us too much."

Jessica raises an eyebrow curious about what the Colonel wanted to talk to her about. As she sips her drink, Jessica looks around for a discreet spot that she can talk to the Colonel. perception [dice=20] [rand=5365252707925271395950013855466349051787027994065493198215019788]

Reception
Mensk found that there could be something like 5 or 6 non-Blastarc satellites that they could have EMPed, if they needed to, and if, in fact that was the satellite’s purpose. All of them were communication satellites (more than likely legit).
The Local Watering Hole
Jessica found that the Colonel had already staked out the best chatting spot, and Tawfeek had sat himself with McKenna in the middle of the room.
At his table, with McKenna, Tawfeek leaned back, looking ruefully at his glass.
“We may have to rob an ambulance, if I can’t find us more work,” Tawfeek answered, with a sigh. “That satellite fiasco has used up most of the company cash.”

Jessica heads tward the chatting spot that the Colonel had staked out, first politely telling Tawfeek and McKenna that she'd be back in a few moments.

Tawfeek nodded, though he had his "Flophouse in 6 weeks" face.
As Jessica sat down, Tremmin shifted to a more polite stance.
"I heard you have had quite the adventure, in the last few months," He began. "I'm pretty sure you've moved the political situation ahead quite nicely with Mars."
He took a drink. "A few people are finally paying attention to me and my... Contractors. Did you get my delivery?"

Flip looks down at the sandwich, then up at the baron. He says, "your talking about risk versus reward. Actual results versus expectation and hope. Fulfillment versus disappointment."
"Only way to be rewarded is to take the risk. People go in expecting the best possible outcome. When they do, most times they face disappointment. You want to survive, you want to find fulfillment then its in the way you look at every situation. The key... is if you take the risk, you know there will be an outcome. So you set your expectations low, expect the worst, hope for the best. 9 times out of 10, you'll land somewhere in between. Fulfillment comes in simply accepting the actual outcome, even if its not what you hoped for."
He reaches over and picks up the sandwich, "see I can expect that this sandwich tastes horrible and can even kill me, but I hope it will be the best one I have ever had. Fulfillment will come in accepting the outcome. As long as i survive," he says with a smile before taking a bite.

In Foreman's dreams
Foreman could see Jessica's disappointment out of the corner of his eye.
"What about the outcomes of others," Dioxin asked. "Anyone can assume the outcomes to their selves, but what about the outcomes others face?"
McKenna came back into the scene, holding a 6-guage, medium-serrated stainless steal knife, with a fine bone handle. And little else, except the bikini spacesuit. "Will you share?"

McKenna was a bit suprised at Tawfeek's reply, then watched Jess go to the other table. " We'd want to get one from Freedom Station then, they are the best supplied from what I've seen. Who's Jess' friend?" She asked, trying to hide the slight annoyance that they weren't sitting together.

Foreman puts the sandwich down. He looks over at Jess, then back at MJ, maybe starting to realize the point of his dream. "Every decision, brings about a new set of outcomes, and possibilities. Taking it all for myself, would be selfish, but would lead to one outcome, sharing it would lead to another. Again fulfillment or disappointment come in how I chose to view that outcome. Some times, especially when considering other people one may have to accept a different outcome than they first expected. For instance if I share this sandwich, will I then still feel hungry when I finish it? Will I long for the part i shared with someone else? Or better yet, now that someone else is involved, will they want the part I didn't share, the part I held back for myself. Will that person be fulfilled with that outcome?"
He waves at the sandwich, "go ahead, I am willing to take the risk and share it."

"To put it simply," Colonel Tremmin said. "I now have deadlines. You have six months to make it marketable. If you do, you know I'm good for it. I could even find work for your good captain."
He paused for a sip. Before she could ask the other side of the results, he continued.
"If you don't, then I will need to retrieve a stolen weapon." he said. "In the unfun way."
Tawfeek shrugged. He didn't even turn around.
"Whenever Jess sits with another man, I don't ask who, or why," he began. "And neither should you, for that matter. What you should ask is 'did he come alone?'"
I Foreman's Dreams
Dream McKenna smiled, as she cut up the sandwich. Into several pieces.
"For being understanding, you can have the biggest one!" she exclaimed, animé style.
