Chapter 68: Now to get outta here! (Team)

"No. I do not need a bathroom. There is somebody downstairs that needs your help immediately! They are a complete mess! Come on!"
Long holds the door open for Avi, waiting for him to come out.

Isamu who had begun to review the statements of the two brothers looks up and at Long then Avery. He says to Avery, "go see what is going on. I'll stay here for the moment." He reaches up and taps his ear, "report what is happening please."

He then tells Raig and Panek, "please take your seats," he says gesturing back towards the conference table. "Once We review these statements I will have to contact my superiors to find out what will be next for you both. I do appreciate all the help you have provided today, however I am also well aware of your past associations if you will."

After Avery leaves and the other two sit back down he takes a seat with his back to the conference room door, and begins to read through their statements, asking for clarification when needed.

Siobhan startles as she hears Isamu's voice in her ear; having forgotten the band-adio, she lets out a little curse then activates it. "We have an injured woman at the door, by the name of Sara." she speaks, hoping the band-adio will pick it up; Sio had been swimming earlier, and shes not sure if the device is fully water-resistant...

Long hurriedly leads Avery back to the scene at the front door.

When Siobhan tried her band-adio, all she got was pops and sizzle sounds, and clearly figured out her answer if they liked salt water. "Not working," Kristian said and activated his own and repeated," Sara just got here, Isamu. She's cut up bad. I'm taking her to the infirmary." He looked at Sara and transformed to his crystalline form and scooped her up in his arms," Sorry Sara, but I know that skeleton of yours makes you too heavy for me and there's no time to wait. Sio, I need your help." When he picked her up there was a puddle of blood on the floor, and he quickly took her to the infirmary.

Laying her in one of the beds, Kristian looked at Sara and asked," Avi's on the way. Is there anything I can get you?"

Avi didn't wait for Isamu and was halfway out the door when he was released, following Long when the call from Kristian came across the band-adios. Pounding down the stairs, when they burst out the door to the basement into the infirmary. Avi's eyes met Siobhan, and she could tell by his guilty expression who had been watching out the window, before he barged in passed Kristian. "All right Sara, you'll be fine." He immediately placed his hands on her and began to heal her.

Kristian backed up and reverted to his normal form. He looked at Long and Siobhan," Good work. You two probably saved her life."

As Alice opened the door, they could hear two people running down the stairwell, but the 2nd floor was otherwise quiet (ooc: if had band-adio on, she would have overheard Isamu and Kristian). Jason pulled the door shut behind him and then asked," Downstairs to see who's around or check in up in control?"

Trevor finished level one fairly well, but his score was nowheres near as good as Deci. " Holey crap, you are good at this." they heard radio exchange and Trevor looked at Deci," You had enough trauma for one night, and need to unwind, so you aren't going anywheres. Besides, Avi can handle things. Ready for round two?" He wiped a bit of sweat from his brow.

Raig and Panek nodded as they finished up their statements. Raig spoke first," Look, Isamu is it? We both know we've screwed up, but we want to make up for it."

Panek nodded," What if we...," he looked at his brother, " what if we offered to sign up for the program? Go straight and help?"

Raig had a suprised look on his face, then nodded slowly," Yeah, I mean if Ashley or Ryne can go straight, any of us can, right?"

"If we can though, I'd like to do it elsewhere." Panek said," Away from Miami. Too many bad memories to try to forget here."

Janie barged in," Sorry Is, but you better come here and see. " Beyond her, he could see she had the monitor on the cells cam. Ashley was transformed again, and in a full blown rage out of control.

(Tom, it is up to you whether you have a band-adio on to overhear what is going on. His tongue already discovered Beth does not)

Alice runs upstairs to control to check up on what is going on.

Tom lets out a low groan as he pulls away from Beth. "Aw nuts. Something's the matter. We need to get to the infirmary." he frowns as he lowers himself back to his chair.

Sara grunts as Kristain moves her from the floor and away to the infirmary. The initial healing stop her from glinting like a macabre, used, pinata. Still it didn't close all the wounds and she was getting way past just being light headed from the blood lose. "Woo, I'm starting feel like I'm on a roller coaster."

When Avi arrives Sara just gives a half-hearted nod and lays back on the table when he does his thing and starts repairing the damage to her body. Homicide did a number on her and Sara was going to pay him back for it. That is whenever she catches up with him again.

Deci not really tired at all looks at him, "Definitely. I can do this all day if I want and sadly in one of my bad days have actually done so." She says having had the first little bit of fun in a very long time.

This time she does try a little by showing off though.

Sio nods to Kristian quietly, doing what she can to help; a glance at the pool of blood, however, brings back the reality of the situation.. not just Sara's, but the whole situation.. her being here, part of a team to co mbat evil, and the possible consequences.

Once Avi shows up at the infrimary, Sio decides she needs to get away, find somewhere quiet with a bottle; Avi's guilty look is responded to with a confused blink, her solid emerald eyes not focusing on his for a moment. Still, Sio managed a brief smile before they part.

Ignoring the blood covering her, Sio makes her way out of the infirmery(sp) in a bit of a daze. Without really realizing it she finds herself in the kitchen, poking around in the fridge and cupboards.. but for what, she's not entirely sure.

Followed by Jason, Alice found Isamu in the conference room. Seated at the conference table, Raig and Panek looked up at her. "Ohhkay," slipped from Jason


" Go, they need you." Beth said, sounding a bit disappointed. " I'm sure I can get you back in the mood." She winked with a wry smirk.

Once he was downstairs, he could feel two odd things with his metal sensing. One, Ashley's cage was threatening to fail as she raged, and the other was the new arrival bleeding all over the infirmary seemed to have a metallic skeleton. Kristian looked at Tom, " Where were you, mon? Could have used your help getting her down here. Can you move her so she on the bed better?" No one seemed to be worried about Ashley. Avi, concentrating on his healing powers, said," Long, grab some bandages to control some of the bleeding please."


Siobhan walked passed Sierra busily preparing her lasanga as she searched the cupboards. She found all sorts of goodies. In fact pretty much anything she could want. Beth came in, and passed by, to grab two rolls of paper towel and some gloves. " Siobhan, you should go wash up," the former reporter said softly, then headed towards where Sara had laid and began to clean the mess.


Trevor was in fact pretty good at the game as they finished up level two. he caught his breath, and looked at Deci," Starting to remember what I hate about this game, I'm too lazy for this." he laughed as he started the third level. As it started, he said, " so, I think Long's got a thing for you. What does big brother Ryne think about that?"

Siobhan blinks and seems to come out of her daze as Beth speaks to her; looking down at herself she touches the clothing, then looks to Beth once more. "I should help you clean up, first.." she starts, grabbing another roll of paper towel. "Since I'm already.. well.." she motions to her clothing.

As level 3 starts and Trevor says that Deci looks at him almost in shock and completely misses and lands on her ass. "He...wha...no fair you did that on purpose." she says as she returns to standing.

Knowing she lost that round, "I don't think you are correct. I mean if the one I want does not want me, probably no one does." With that she hops up and takes a floating seat waiting for the next round.

[Dome]

Isamu looks at the video and when Jason and Alice arrive he looks up, "it is good to have you both home."

He gets up from the table, "I have to go see Ashley. Hopefully i can reach her and calm her down. Alice do you think you can accompany me and try to reach her telepathically?"

Whether Alice agrees or not, Isamu moves to exit the room. He stops long enough to tell the brothers, "I will mention your desire to our superiors, your future is in their hands. For now I ask you to remain here."

He leaves the room and heads downstairs. If anyone followed him he says to them, "stay behind me."

He walks in and says to Ashley in Japanese, "My Love its me, please calm down, I won't let anything happen to you. Everything is going to be ok."

Tom nods as he lifts the bleeding person with his abilities. "OK - but someone better keep an eye on that cage - it's going to give any second."
