Alice blushes when she realizes what Jane was saying and mumbles something about how there hasn't been a lot of time with everything going on and Jason being in the hospital more than once since they'd met.
A thought occurs to her, and attempting to be casual, she asks Trevor, "So, what did she look like? What was her name?"

Isamu says nothing at the comments, and merely stares at the image of Ashley on a rampage. In thought, 'I hope that this passes soon. I cannot bare to see her so out of control. There must be a way to control her changes.'

'no clue what the wetsuit thing is .. but even if i wanted a kitty, i better not. i may not be able to look after it properly. but thanks anyways ... so .. what IS a wetsuit? .. and why would i want to get all wet in it?'
*she's still a little clueless about this interacting, but she's slowly understanding part of the role. she knows that she can ask questions and not be slandered or her heritage brought up into question over it.

Trevor looked at the others," You don't know her. No one here does." Was his only reply, looking embarassed. His eyes shifted to the doorway as Avi and Dimitri entered the War Room. " You need us to go out?"
After Janie explained, Avi looked at Isamu," Want to come with? No sense hanging around waiting for Ashley to calm down. someone would have to get into her head to do that, she's not listening anymore by the looks of things." He motioned towards the monitor.
" Come on, I'll show you." Kristian stood up and took the cart by the handles. they walked slowly towards the sports store and Kristian led her to the back where the diving equipment was. He pointed out a wetsuit," You could wear one of these and kno one would see your... paterns. At least until you become comfortable around some of us to stop hiding what you are, there's nothing to be ashamed of."
A clerk came around the rack, smiling," hi, anything I can help you folks with?"

*Sierra listens and is looking at the wet-suit when the clerk comes up and the mind goes blank briefly and then kicks back in again. 'oh .. uhh .. how do these things work? ... are they really .. they look uncomfortable. are they?'
*she examines them as the clerk goes into the sales pitch and explains about the various pros and cons of each one .. and then finally says 'and how do you get into it .. and can i try one on someplace? .. cause i don't know what one would be good on me .. fit wise i mean .. '
*she has forgotten all about the 'tail' for this time while shes doing some shopping for herself. something she rarely does and it shows.

Alice sighs quietly and attempts to scan Trevor's mind to see if she can get a picture of what this girl looked like because she was worried he might be getting himself into trouble if the girl was who Alice thought it was.

As Alice delves into Trevor's mind, it doesn't take long to a clear image of Trevor's not so new friend. To her surprise, she looks straight into the smiling face of Torment, the Brethren member who'd attacked her mentally somehow in their last encounter. Yet the young woman seemed a totally different person as Trevor's memory showed her sitting on the beach smiling and laughing.
" Of course, our change room is right this way." The clerk smiled, picking two off the rack that appeared to be close to Sierra's size.
" They're not uncomfortable at all, just have to get used to them. I used to wear one all the time back home." Kristian replied
motioning for her to follow the clerk. " Go, I'll wait for you out here and keep an eye on our friend."

Alice blinks when she sees the face of the girl Trevor had been with. 'What in the bloody hell is he doing? she wonders to herself 'that girl helped to attack our team when Felicia was taken! Feeling a little confused, Alice tries to figure out what she should do when she asks Avi "So, um, what should I do? Stay here?"

*Sierra takes the 2suits and enters the changeroom with a single look over the shoulder at Kristien's face 'i'll try to hurry .. do i need to show you how they look?'
*clueless about this part, she asks the one person she trusts about it. then getting a funny look from the salesclerk .. she blushes and enters the small room and studies the two suits.
*she hears the background of the Mall and the store as she proceeds to get into one of the suits, being careful of the material, in case. finally she sutdies herself in the suit in the mirror, and then turns slightly and starts to giggle.
'hey Kristien .. i .. i look like a seal with pink racing stripes ... see?' *saying that she opens the door, glad yet again that her strange skin is covered up.

Kristian laughed," Better than the all yellow one that would have made you look like a banana." He replied, motioning towards one still on the rack. " I dunno, I yhink you fill it out quite nicely..." his eyes went wide when he realized what he had said. the clerk merely chuckled.
" Up to you Alice, Will left you in charge of this place in his absence." Avi replied, shaking his head as Dimitri gave Janie a goodbye kiss before leaving. " You two are sickening."
" Jealous." Janie replied, sticking out her tongue.
" If you don't need me, I'm going down to the beach." Trevor said, " I've got my radio on." He sai, tapping behind his ear. He didn't wait for a reply before leaving the room, pounding down the stairs quickly.
" He's sure in a hurry." Dimitri noted.
When Will turned the corner by the fire station, sure enough, the rental Charger was parked out front. Kerry looked over at Will. " You know Tyler isn't going to appreciate our showing up here."

Alice nods at Avi and then glances at Trevor as he practically sprints out of the room. "I guess I'll stay here then. I'm still not much of a fighter."
"Trevor, wait." she calls out after him. Once she's caught up with him, she asks lowly, "How long have you been seeing Torment?"

Trevor turned around and shrugged," Brittney and I have been dating for about a month now..." His eyes went wide as her question sunk in. " How did you... you were in my head weren't you? Just like you did to Jason." He didn't bother hiding the fact he was upset with it. " It's none of your frigging business who I see."

Alice glares back at Trevor "It is my business when the person you choose to go out with is the same person who attacked some of us, including me, not that long ago. Or have you conveniently forgotten that she was part of the team that helped attack us when Felicia was kidnapped? Remember her?" Alice steps closer to Trevor and glares up at him as she snaps, "But who cares as long as you get to make out with a pretty girl, right?" Shaking her head, she looks disgusted as she adds, "What the bloody hell were you thinking?"

" That's rich coming from someone with the hot's for a government hired killer who hunts down our own kind when his handlers snap their fingers." Trevor shot back. " And what exactly did she doduring that encounter? Nothing except make you feel a little drunk. Yeah, she told me." He shook his head. " That's what your problem is, she got the better of you. Heck, you're the mind reader, do your thing and tell me what I'm thinking."
He raised his shirt, revealing the scarring he'd endured the night he was changed. " It's not like this gives me alot of options. Why can't you mind you youur own business and let me have some poor excuse for normality in my life?"
