For the moment Miranda simply listens to the questions asked, and waits for the answer to be given. (tag)

"Well. A leader will show him... or herself (acknowledging that this wasn't an all-male group) as you become a team." Says Karson. "I will be the one that contacts you." He holds out six text-pagers. "Keep these near, when they ring, report to the address displayed. They only work between you and me, so personal use is not so much prohibited as not possible. When you receive a page, you are all expected to show up or respond. THis is not a calling-tree where the top is called, then the rest through him. You will all get the message. OK?"
"As for training, we will get you as much time as you can, but the time is limited." He explains.
"You headquarters are this building, where we will be meeting regularly as possible. Resources include intelligence and training, only. Though you will be paid, CHIMERA will not be handing out any kinds of ammunition. We will, however, repare armours. As for intelligence, we will get you what we can about what you can expect. This will be of greater use than a box of bullets, since it will help you plan better use of your own gear."
"Anything else?"

Revenant sighs softly as he pinches the bridge of his nose. "Do we have a training officer? Are we being expected to begin field operations immediately or will be given time to develop operational field dynamics? If we do wish to contact other members of our operation, how would we go about doing so?"

The liason officer looked at Revenant curiously. "You can contact each other through the pagers. Send me a message and indicate who it's for. You mustn't forget that, while you have all agreed to be Cavaliers, you still have your outside lives to consider. So your personal privacy is important. Hence, unless you choose to let the others contact you, send the messages through me."
"As to training, you need to assume less." He sighs. "There will be training. Though, most of it will be in-the-field, since you are all assumed to know your abilities to at least some level."

Leans back in his chair, clearly underwhelmed with the Liason's response.

Miranda takes one of the pagers and examines it, figuring out how it works as the others ask their questions, noting the answers that are given. (tag)

Quinn also picked up the pager and figured it out fairly quickly. As he did he was a tad under impressed but understood why. No group had unlimited resources.
"I take it were not Chimera's top priority. So when do we start and whats the pay?" he asked as he pocketed the Pager and set it to silent.

"You will be paid a base of $40,000 a year, plus mission bonuses. You will start on the weekend with your training. This will mostly be in group dynamics, giving yourselves the opportunities to form into a proper team."
"Excuse me." says Sock-Puppet Man. "But, you mentioned we drop everything we do to come. Does that include running out on work? Or Family? That doesn't sound so good to my ears." (Note: the sock puppet had somehow managed to put on joke ears with no-one noticing.)
"Where we can afford a time-frame for a meet, we will give you one." Answered Karson. "Though, if there is a need for an emergency response, you will be expected to respect that."

Grabs a pager, looking it over and trying to identify the make and model. He looks clearly bored with what the liason officer has said and has a "is it over already" look on his face.

The pager is a fairly standard model on the outside. Quite unassuming. It's a Blackberry kind of thing, really. Complex enough to have very blunt controls on usage and security. The OS looks to be stripped down.
"Well, if there's no more questions, let's get you all signed up and set for training next weekend."
All those wishing to join the Caveliers, please mention so. Sock-Puppet Man and Power Armour have put their name on the list. As has Troubelr shooter. If you PCs want to strike back out on your own, mention it instead. ;D

"What the heck, I'm in." he glanced at the sock..."How did you..." then stopped asking as he had several ideas how his ears appeared on the sock puppet. Heckler once told him to be careful of what you ask.
The team would have missions and mean a lot out of time out his goals, but this was the price of allies and contacts. The big draw was the paycheck. It meant at least he'd have roof over his head. Having found the place in Brisby he needed to pay rent like everyone else.
He was more curious about the person he met in the ally and forming a partnership. He seemed to be a capable type.

"Well. This is just super!" Says Sock-puppet Man in his high-pitched voice (the ears have since been removed from the sock head. "I can just tell that we have a good variety of abilities. Those criminal elements don't stand a chance."
The young man calling himself Power Armour looked over at Quin, then Troubleshooter, then back to SPM. "You, sir, need help." He said to the person.
The sock inter-jected. "Yes, I did need help. That's why I joined the Caveliers. We can't go it alone in this city, and the Legion of Tomorrow just can't get its act together without coming under Overlord's thumb."
"It's true." Said Troubleshooter. "Even the veterens don't move in packs, since they know what the city will do."
There was a quiet for a moment as SPM's wooly hide turns to examine Revenant and Windchill to see what they'll be doing.

"Might as well make it a full set" He seems more interested in the pager than the liason
