Has anyone heard from Thagema? It's been quite a while since he posted.

Thag just finished up moving to New Orleans a few days ago. From all accounts, it was a harrowing move. I suspect that he'll be around here soon. He's posted on another one of his games recently.

Okay, so it's been two months of nothing. How do the rest of you want to progress? Or do we keep waiting?

Well, I won't be back until July 23rd, So I vote waiting slightly longer. But discussion in the meantime sounds good.
I have GM'd Heroes campaigns before, although I don't have the books this adventure is based in and I really didn't know where it was going.
I could easily insert my own plot which fit into events so far. Does anyone else feel like taking over?

i only have HU2 and Revised to pull ideas from.
HU isn't my forte ... but i could always try to do the 'ghost forest' scenario ... before it became what it was later ... maybe .. oh dear that might be harder than i thought ...
but i guess it would be cool if there were mini plots to work on .. after all its not like the entire world is waiting for us as a group to fubar big time on ONE little pit of life ... well you get the idea ...
someone feel free to post something. i'm not super, but i could give my idea a try a bit later further on if you'ld like ... or at least TRY to get something together

Does anyone have any character ideas for the Magician's replacement?
I would accept a new player or a non-player character.
Remember, Mr Alexander said they would be a "better fit" than the Magician - which is pretty board, but I would say the group's mission would mean a better fit would be good at acquiring information and a good fit from the powers perspective would be someone with one or two strengths, most of the team have a multitude of complimentary skills and powers.
I have some characters I can use, yet I wanted to give everyone a chance for input.

Notes:
Over the next few days we will add another player character to replace the Magician. I will work the character into the storyline immediately - however it might be a few days until the character/equipment list/player are completely ready, so try not to interogate the new character - at least initially.
Also, I elected not to have the mutants respond to Jeckle's questions about their powers for two reasons: first, though there are several powerful mutants in the room, some of the mutants have "benign" mutations - that is they might have green skin but no superhuman powers. The second is that their unique appearance coupled with a description of their powers is just about as good as handing over their fingerprints to the group (a blue mutant with a tail who can fly would be easy to track down - how many can there be?). Either way, they aren't going to give that information out willingly to strangers. In fact, I tried to run the exchange so none of the mutants gave their names, even when talking to each other.
I'm going wrap up the meeting thread and start the next thread, although I know some of us will be absent for at least a day or two.
